  • Police Officer
    The Presque Isle Police Department is seeking qualified, motivated, and community-oriented individuals for the position of Police Officer. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive wages with liberal overtime opportunities, wage step increases, college tuition reimbursement, employee and family medical health coverage, paid vacation and sick leave, 401(a) retirement plan with a 9% employer contribution and 457 plan with a 3% employer match. The new hire pay range, depending upon experience, is $16.41 - $19.87 per hour. Individuals with honorable military experience, an Associate’s Degree or greater, or certified Maine Criminal Justice Academy graduates with current police certification are encouraged to apply. Candidates will be required to successfully pass a background check, a medical, psychological, and polygraph examination.
